There are two organizations in town who work together to collect and preserve the history of Maynard.

The Maynard Historical Society seeks to collect the stories and artifacts of our history and make them available to the public. Open to the public, the Society meets on the 4th Monday of each month with informative programs on topics related to Maynard's history. The Maynard Historical Commission is a town-appointed board focused on historical preservation of the town.
