Information on the 2009 fundraiser

    The purpose of the Maynard Police Relief Association is to raise money to donate to several charities in the community.  Some of the past donations include:

• Maynard Boy Scouts
• Maynard Cub Scouts
• Walk For Cancer
• Toys for Tots
• Maynard Little League
• Cops 4 Kids
• WAVM Beacon-Santa Telethon
• "Maynard's Own" Foundation

    As well as several donations towards the public school system, library, skate park ect.  The Relief Association also awards two seniors, (boy & girl)  a $1000.00 scholarship for college every year.  That amount is due to be increased this year. 

    Your donations allow us to provide this valuable service to the community.  This year (2007) the Maynard officers will be doing all the fundraising themselves.  Years prior we used a private company who used telemarketing to raise the money.  A large amount of the money went to that company.  This year we hope to raise considerably more with your help.
