Welcome to the Maynard police departments website.  The Maynard Police Department employs twenty sworn full-time police officers and ten part-time special police officers.  Our department has the responsibility of protecting and serving a population of approximately 10,500 residents.  The Maynard Police Department believes in the concept of community policing.  This philosophy has earned the trust and respect from our residents and we strive to make this       relationship a mutual endeavor.  The mission of the Maynard Police  Department is to promote and maintain a partnership with the citizens of Maynard.  As the Maynard Police Department embarks on a new era of policing, we will face many challenges.  The police department will need your support in the near future in dealing with  issues concerning public safety.  As the Chief of the Maynard Police Department I encourage you make use of our website.  This will enable our community to learn about its police department and how it operates.  Please do not hesitate to call and ask for me directly for issues concerning public safety.
