Running / Walking / 
Hiking		 There are plenty of quiet streets to walk or run through.  You can also do laps on the Alumni Field track and get ready for the annual Monster.com 5 Mile Road Race that takes place in early September.

The Maynard Conservation Commission maintains a number of trails in town which provide a way to enjoy nature right here in Maynard and the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge provides a space for walkers to enjoy nature. Visit the Maynard Web's Nature page for more information.
Cycling Cycling in Maynard is almost an oxymoron - you can pretty much cycle through Maynard in about 8 minutes...   The Assabet River Rail Trail will create a cycling path from Marlborough to Acton.  If you are into distance riding and racing, you might want to check out the Minuteman Road Club.
Golf Maynard is surrounded by golf courses -- and we have one of our own too.  The Maynard Country Club is located off of Rt. 27 near the Acton border.  Nearby Stow has several golf courses.  A 15 minute drive east brings you to the Nashawtuc Country Club golf course in Concord - home of the FleetBoston Classic.
Hockey The Sudbury-Maynard-Stow Youth Hockey Program provides boys and girls in Maynard with a quality hockey experience.

Little
League		 Maynard has an active Little League program that plays at Green Meadow and other town fields.
Football
and
Cheerleading		 Maynard Tigers Youth Football & Cheerleading is part of the Central Massachusetts Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference. 
Martial Arts The Maynard Martial Arts Club meets at the Knights of Columbus Hall at the corner of Nason and Summer Streets.
Soccer Maynard Youth Soccer
Skating We don't have any rinks in town, but there are at least two nearby: one in Acton and one in Concord.
Fitness / Gyms Gold's Gym at Clock Tower Place.

The Assabet Valley Boys & Girls Club offers many programs for kids of all ages.

Volleyball Adult recreational leagues run from fall - spring.
